I did my Poll earlier and I'm not seeing anyone lusting after Apple TV. I guess technology wise it's not at the "I can't live without this" level of hype. We have one and it's pretty cool. With the four Mac's in our house it's nice to be able to go to the Apple TV and play everyones music easily. The other nice thing is I don't have to have everyone "subscribed" to my purchased music in order to share it. There is truly nothing more annoying than my iTunes telling me that I already have my purchased music bound to five machines.. but I digress and can save that for another post. The streaming movie feature is really cool. My husband has perfected his settings and our DVD's look as fantastic on Apple TV as they would being played from the DVD. It's also nice having everything in one place on my giant TV With photos they need to be copied to the Apple TV directly. It's been fun watching photos on the big screen and seeing our photos on the Apple TV screen saver. Oh look there we are younger and thinner ahhhhhh I love our Apple TV and think it was worth the price, but obviously if you're on a tight budget you could live without it.
