The new iLife only works on the latest version of Leopard. Some of you have been waiting for a good reason to upgrade, well this is it. The only problem is when you hold off on upgrades and suddenly have a need it can be costly as you are forced to upgrade multiple things at once.

I just discovered a neat little tip for Quick Look on Leopard. If you want to compare two pictures (or two anything, really), you can select both and then Control-click and select "Quick Look 2 Items." Your quick view will pop up with one of the pictures you selected.

My agency is talking about upgrading to Leopard and Adobe Creative Suite 3. I'm wondering if anyone is running Leopard with CS3 and/or QuarkXPress, and if so, how it's running so far. Any major bugs or issues?

Apple's new version of the OS X operating system has been out now a little over a week. I know some of you upgraded right away as you're technoholics like me :-)
For those of you who have cut over have you had any problems? Any regrets?

So after a week of what I'd consider to be me being very impatient I finally got my version of leopard. I've been reading the manual and everyone's positive thoughts on leopard. But....I'm not quite sure how to go about upgrading it.

Today is the day. In just a few short hours I will get my hands on the real, final copy of Leopard. While I have had access to the betas for months it is not the same.

One of the neatest features in 10.5, which is releasing today, is a called Time Machine. All you need is an external drive hooked up to your Mac and then you turn it on. It scans your drive hourly and backs up any changes made to your files.

Apple announced this am that Leopard will be available to the public on Friday October 26th! It comes with a host of new features:
Time Machine
Quick Look
Spaces
Cover Flow file view
Icon Stacks in the Dock
Oh and did I mention it is fast?? I've had a developers copy to play with and I can't believe how fast and stable it is for a non production release.
